Watch a ray bend as it enters glass.
A metal. An acid. An unexpected gas.
Tiny structures. Extraordinary jobs.
Four areas bring one expression to life.
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL WORK WITH
A clear concept, a real research question and something they help create. Explore an example of the learning experience.
Start with a prediction. Explore a digital circuit. Use a short guide to connect what happens to the science.
What do you think happens to the current?
In this ideal circuit, current = voltage ÷ resistance. Keeping resistance fixed makes the comparison clear.
A concept they can describe in their own words.
Connect familiar electricity to the questions behind tomorrow’s batteries. Explore a selected source with a mentor and use AI to help unpack it.
An Argonne research roadmap explores how AI could help investigate battery materials and ageing.
A real source, a new possibility and a question to pursue.
With a tutorial and mentor support, the team builds or adapts a simulation. Students learn to check what AI creates.
“What happens when we increase the voltage?”
Use AI to help add or adjust a voltage slider.
Compare the model with the concept. Fix what doesn’t make sense.
A working model they have helped shape and test.
A short individual quiz checks understanding. A team presentation connects the question, the model and the result.
Every child explains a part of the discovery.
Something to show. Something to explain. Concept materials, a shared digital project and the thinking behind it.
FROM OUR PAST WORKSHOPS
Students exploring ideas, working together and building with guidance. A look inside our workshops at ClassPe.
INSIDE THE WORKSHOP
Four students. Four laptops. One project.
See how your child learns, creates and explains an idea with their team.
Explore a circuit. Predict what will happen when the voltage changes.
A flashcard. A tutorial. Your first prediction.Use AI and a guided starter to build or adapt your circuit model.
One shared model, with mentor support.Explore a checked research card about how scientists improve batteries.
A related research story. A source to check.Keep resistance fixed. Change the voltage. Compare the result with your prediction.
Test, check and improve together. Each student explains one finding. A quick quiz checks their own understanding.
A team presentation. An individual understanding check.Ask & predict

Roles rotate between rounds. Every child gets a new perspective.
ROLE ROUND 01Explore the concept, meet the research and begin a model.
Develop the project, check the science and share your discovery.
Illustrative flow for one experiment. Mentors adapt the pace to the group.
A LITTLE PREVIEW OF A BIG POSSIBILITY
Try examples from four subjects. In the workshop, students focus on one guided topic and a shared project.
Change the voltage or resistance. Discover what makes the current flow.
Make a predictionKeep resistance the same. What happens to current when you double the voltage?
Ideal DC circuit: I = V/R. The bulb is a symbolic power indicator with no extra resistance; its glow is illustrative. This model does not predict a real bulb’s brightness.
Choose a metal. Run the virtual reaction. See whether a gas appears.
Try a comparisonSwitch from zinc to copper. Do you still see bubbles?
A virtual comparison, not instructions for a home experiment. Bubble activity is illustrative, not a measured rate. Copper does not react with dilute HCl under ordinary conditions.
Explore an animal cell, then compare it with a photosynthetic plant cell.
Contains most of the cell’s DNA and helps direct its activities.
Spot the differenceWhich structures appear when you switch to the plant cell?
One comparison activity: a generic animal cell and a photosynthetic plant cell. Shapes, colours and positions are simplified; not to scale. Both types have mitochondria.
An equation can be a picture. Change the lengths and watch its four areas add up.
The rectangle shows (x + a)(x + b) = x² + ax + bx + ab. This area model uses positive lengths; the algebraic identity also applies beyond this picture.
Change an input. Make a prediction. Explain the result. A small preview of learning through digital experiments.

A LITTLE PREPARATION GOES A LONG WAY
Baner, Pune. Our team will share full venue directions before you confirm your place.
Bring a laptop and charger for digital experiments and guided building with AI tools, mainly ChatGPT.
Our team will share device and account requirements before you confirm, followed by a preparation checklist.
Across all four cohorts, 30 students will be selected for a special subsequent workshop and felicitation at IISER Pune, involving IISER Pune scientists.
Selection is a separate step. Workshop registration does not guarantee a place in the finale.
curious minds.
one memorable experience.
A STRONGER FOUNDATION
Thinking ahead to JEE or Olympiads? Start with understanding the science. In Chota Scientist, your child explores an idea, tests a model and explains their reasoning.
ClassPe Foundation takes that learning further with early JEE and Olympiad preparation, alongside an AI building workshop every two weeks.
Ask about JEE FoundationConnect it to what they study.
Turn an idea into a working model.
Show the thinking behind the result.
FOR THE CURIOUS PARENT
Everything you need to plan your child’s two Sundays.
Chota Scientist Hunt is for students in Classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 who are curious about science, maths and building with AI. The first Sunday introduces the tools and the process.
Your child will help their team build or meaningfully adapt a science simulation, with AI and mentor guidance. The workshop centres on one guided topic. The four subject previews on this page illustrate possible experiences; students are not expected to complete four separate projects.
Students explore a science concept, make a prediction, connect it to a selected research story and check evidence. Flashcards, a tutorial and a simulation support the learning. An individual quiz and a team presentation give them a chance to explain it.
The workshop takes place in person at ClassPe Baner. Digital experiments and simulations are the main format, with mentors guiding students as they work together on their laptops.
Teams rotate the Thinker, Scientist, Creator and Tester roles. Each child brings a laptop and contributes to one shared project. Everyone asks, builds, checks and explains along the way. Each child also completes an individual understanding check.
The two-Sunday workshop introduces concept exploration, testing and explaining through digital experiments. For families interested in a longer programme, ClassPe Foundation combines early JEE and Olympiad preparation with AI building workshops every two weeks. Our team can explain the options for your child’s class.
Their own laptop and charger. We will mainly use ChatGPT and browser-based tools. Our team will confirm essential device and account requirements before you register and send a preparation checklist before the workshop.
The enquiry is free. Our team will explain the workshop fee and what is included before you decide to register. No payment is taken through this enquiry form.
Yes. The first Sunday introduces the concept, research connection and starting model. The second develops the project through building, testing and explaining. Please choose dates and a time slot that work for both sessions.
The two-Sunday workshops are at ClassPe Baner, Pune. The separate finale for 30 selected students is at IISER Pune on 20 December 2026.
Thirty students will be selected across all four cohorts for the IISER Pune event. Selection criteria will be shared by the organisers. Registering for a workshop does not guarantee selection.
No. It is a request for information. Our team will explain pricing, availability and registration terms before you decide. A seat is confirmed separately.
Your contact details and your child’s name and class are sent to ClassPe after mobile verification. Our team will help you choose dates and a time. We will discuss the workshop and Foundation programme, explain pricing and confirm availability. An enquiry does not reserve a seat.
One question can lead to a whole new way of learning.
